About the Business

I have been childminding since 2001. Before becoming a childminder I was a SNCO Statistical Analyst in the Royal Air Force for 17 years. On both my last 2 Ofsted inspections, the quality and standards of care that I provide merited an award of Outstanding. I am insured with Michel Morton with whom I have my Public Liability and Legal Expenses Insurances. I regularly complete child orientated First Aid and Specialist Safeguarding Children courses and are CRB checked as required by Ofsted. In July 2004 I completed a 2-year college course to achieve my CACHE level 3 Certificate in Childminding Practice (CCP).

In July 2007 I completed my evaluation training to become an Accredited Childminder, able to offer Early Years Entitlement (EYE) and receive government nursery vouchers for free early education for 3 year olds. In April 2013 I completed my evaluation training to also offer funded Two Year Old Entitlement (TYE) which is available to children meeting certain criteria from September 2013.
