About the Business

Our nursery follows the national guidance of Pre-birth to Three for our younger children, which promotes the principals of Rights of the Child, Responsive care, Relationships and Respect.

Our 3-5 curriculum meets local and national guidance through Curriculum for Excellence. This is the curriculum followed by the vast majority of Scottish pre-schools, primary schools and secondary schools. It is structured under 8 curricular areas, providing a wide and varied range of learning opportunities and activities: Expressive arts, Health and wellbeing, Languages, Mathematics, Religious and Moral Education, Sciences, Social Studies and Technologies. Our floor books reflect this range of exciting activities; you are welcome to view these at any time. A fully qualified teacher supports staff in the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence.

The value of extending children's learning through the outdoors in widely recognised and we promote this in a variety of ways.
