About the Business
Coneygarth Farm Day Nursery was opened in 1997 by Martin and Carol Cooper. We are situated in the village of Haxey, in the Isle of Axholme. Carol has a degree in education and is a qualified teacher. Martin runs the farm which offers a natural environment for the nursery location. Both Martin and Carol share in the management of the nursery. They are available at the nursery on a daily basis to give you and your child personal care and attention.
We were inspired to open the nursery as we had three young sons, triplets and wanted to provide for them and other children, truly excellent childcare in a lovely rural environment. Our farm, Coneygarth seemed an absolutely ideal place for a children's nursery. We renovated a large barn which is our main unit, and a milking parlour which is our homely baby unit.
The old granary has been converted into an out of school and holiday club which caters for children age 5-11 years.
