About the Business
I am a fully qualified, Ofsted registered childminder. I work from my home in Chapelfields, Coventry, which is a safe, pet and smoke free, calm and happy. I live with my husband our daughter who was born in February 2011 and my step-daughter who is 13 years old.
I have been looking after children for over 15 years in a variety of different settings, from holiday kids clubs abroad to hospitals. I qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1997 which enabled me to go to university and train at Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital to become a registered Paediatric Nurse. I continued to nurse children for 12 years.
After getting married and having my own family I realised that working changeable shifts of days and nights was no longer an option for me. My love for children combined with my experience of the difficulty in finding suitable, appropriate and affordable childcare led me to become a childminder and forming ‘i nurture'.
