About the Business
I am a 29 year old mother of two beautiful girls, Chloe and Jessica. I really enjoy caring for children and seeing how they interact with each other and encourage each other's development with my guidance. Together we create a loving, caring environment for all ages. Over time the children become part of the family.
Because I enjoy being with my children so much, I decided to make childcare my vocation. In May 2005 I completed my ICP course (Introduction to Childminding Practice) and then I applied to become a registered childminder in December 2005. In 2006 I became a care assistant part time; this provided me with invaluable experience of working with disabled and elderly people. I found this very rewarding and it helped me to further my understanding of people with different circumstances and needs.
I have increased my skills by completing courses in both Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene and Infection Control.
