About the Business
I offer a safe home from home setting and a fun learning environment, I have 2 young children of my own so have plenty of indoor and outdoor toys. I will involve all children in doing activities such as; music mornings, story time, cookery, free play and outings. I make good use of the local amenities and facilities to ensure that children in my care are given plenty of opportunities to learn and explore the environment around them. We attend local playgroups/ sure-start centers, and we go to the library each week and the local shops and parks. During the school holidays we may go on days out to the local museums, art galleries, soft play areas and larger parks such as Coombe Abbey and Ryton Pools. I hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate, i have completed training courses for safeguarding children, and home based provision stage 1 with the aim to improve my skills and attend more training courses.
