About the Business
The nursery is situated in the centre of Workington and serves the immediate locality and surrounding areas. We povide high quality care for cildren aged 6 weeks to 12 years. This includes pre school education for 3-5 years and out of school care, breakfast, after school and holiday clubs for 5-12 years.
Learning Land Nursery is owned and managed by Hilary McCarron with support from the deputy manager Kirsty Graham. Both members of management have continued their professional development at university and have achieved a degree with honours in childcare.
Alongside Hilary and Kirsty is a team of highly qualified staff including a trainee deputy, lead practitioners and valuable childcare practitoners. All staff are chosen for their patience, enthusiasm, positive approach to childcare and above all their love for children. All staff deliver a high standard of care and commitment to the nursery.
