About the Business

We acknowledge that children grow up in various family settings, reflecting a range of values and beliefs. At Learning Works for Children we offer full time places for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, and provide a holiday club (Playscheme) for 5-11 year olds. We are open 52 weeks of the year, except for Bank Holidays. We see our nursery as a 'family' and have an open door policy so parents and children feel able to share ideas and to contribute to nursery life.

Parental involvement is important to us to ensure that your child has the best possible care with their individual needs being met. They will also keep a record of their development which consists of art work, photographs, observations and all their achievements, which you get to keep. A copy of our extensive Nursery policies, including our Child Protection Policies are available on request as they are updated regularly.
