About the Business

I am originally from London, moving up to Pocklington in January 2011, and into York July 2012. Living in London was fantastic and I was very lucky to grow up in such a bustling and diverse community. When I was young my mother was a childminder and it has given me some brilliant first hand insights into why childminding is a valuable option for parents who require childcare.

It was never boring in our house, it was sometimes noisy and often messy but it was a very happy place to grow up. The children my mother cared for were our friends, we were all treated with the same love and care. I am still in touch with many of those children now.

From quite a young age I decided I wanted to be a childminder when I had children of my own. My plans were to start childminding when Jake turned 1, however moving and new additions meant that we delayed it. We are now happy and settled in York and feel we have found the place we want our children to grow up.
