About the Business
I am an Ofsted registered childminder, with 15 years of experience working with children and their families. I am honest, reliable, friendly and a hardworking person. I'm also Caring and patient with good communication skills, I am committed to the welfare, safeguarding and promotion of children's education. I live on my own now, but I have two children, who live with their own families. I have a beautiful granddaughter who is 2 and a gorgeous grandson who is 1. I love spending time with them. When I was made redundant last year from my job I had been doing for 15 years. I worked in a primary school, and loved working with the children. I worked with small groups and also 1-1 with children with SEN. This meant giving them extra help, support and attending to their specific needs. So I decided to do all the training I needed to get ready to start my own child-minding business. I finished the course in December and applied to Ofsted to register as a child care provider.
