It is with professionalism, experience, commitment and dedication combined with the genuine care, love, respect and understanding of young children we strive constantly to provide a childcare centre of excellence, second to none.
Following a mapping exercise by the Hertfordshire Early Years Development Partnership it was identified that there was a lack of affordable day-care provision in the West Watford area. Small World Nursery was set up in 2001 to resolve this gap with grants received from Hertfordshire County Council and the Single Regeneration Budget (SRB). The nursery was registered as a not for profit company limited by guarantee with Companies House and a voluntary board of directors was formed. This board was made up of local people with appropriate background skills, both culturally and educationally and with officer support and advice from Watford Borough Council.
