About the Business

Welcome to my website, and the world that is Taylored Childcare. My name is Emma Taylor, and I am a 30something married mum of two funny and smart daughters aged 2 and 7. I am a registered childminder following a career change from working as a teaching assistant, and early years assistant.

As a parent, I know just how hard it is to find reliable, flexible and local childcare. As a St Anne's mum, I also found that there was very little before and after school childcare (outside of the school) available for both St Anne's and St Cedd's from nearby nurseries and childminders, and this was something I wanted to be able to offer. I live in Moulsham Drive, Old Moulsham which is within walking distance to New London Road, the town centre, local parks and is a safe, vibrant community.

After having my second daughter, I decided that I wanted to set up my own childcare business, combining the structure of nursery, with the home environment of a childminder.
