Here at Bright Beginnings Day Nursery and Pre-School, we know that choosing the correct child care, is one of the most important decisions that you will make for your children. That is why we wish tobe certain, that "Bright Beginnings" provides the right environment, for both you and your child.
I live in Maltby and have been a childminder for 14 years. I am a member of the NCMA and I am fully insured for child minding through them. This professional body also keeps me updated with any newinformation and regular news letters. I am married to Darren and have four sons. I am a member of Maltby childminding group, who meet up every Tuesday at Stepping Stones Children's Centre. They provide exciting activities for the children inside and outside.
My name is Emma Wain and I live with my husband Chris, my two daughters Olivia and Sophie and my dog called Max. I am also a member of PACEY ensuring I am up to date with all issues regardingchildminding. As part of my data protection I am a member of the ICO to ensure families details and any photographs are stored safely and correctly. I have always wanted to work with children as they are so fun!
Here our aim is to provide high quality care and education for all children, in an environment that offers an exceptional balance between LEARNING and PLAYTIME! We work hard to ensure that ourprovision recognises and meets the diverse needs of each individual child and their family. To maximise the children's learning experiences, the nursery uses the "Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage" (EYFS), to plan learning activities and experiences for each individual child.
As a family we are very outdoorsy and we love being out in the garden, no matter what the weather is like! Belle and Lily particularly love jumping in muddy puddles. We love days out to castles, denbuilding, camping and picnics. I was a primary school teacher for 15 years and thoroughly enjoyed watching children develop and progress over those years.
With Alfie, his young cousins, and our friends' youngsters regularly visiting, we have gained some invaluable experience in making a child-friendly (and safe) home. Running a childminding business inour home means some interruption to our lives and our home. I need and have the full backing of all the members of my family. I am happy to introduce them to you and tell you a little about us all. Both Rob and I grew up in Coventry.
Our children and staff enjoyed playing outdoors this winter is the soft fluffy snow. Staff used lots of shared sustained thinking whilst communicating with the children about the snow. How it feels, how it looks, is it cold?, fluffy, crunchy, wet, white etc. A group of children decided to build a snowman with their friends.
My names Hazel and I live with my partner Terry and daughter Charlotte in a spacious bungalow on a quiet cul-de-sac in South Elmsall. We have a large secure back garden for the children to play. Therewill be a vegetable patch where everyone can get involved in growing their own food, a grassed area which will be home to plenty of games and fun, and there's a large patio so that we can still play outside if we have a "Great British Summer" and the grass gets too muddy!
