About the Business

The nursery has been established here for 17 years. Hayley & Alan Russell bought the nursery in May 2009 and have brought their finance & business backgrounds with them. Hayley is a local business woman with finance and child care experience.

Karen has a foundation degree in Early Years Practice, an NVQ 4 in Management and is also specifically trained in behaviour management, paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding children. Karen is also the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator for the nursery).

Our Level 3 qualified Deputy Manager, Sarah Houghton has over 16 years childcare experience and also has an NVQ 3 in management. Sarah has undertaken training to become the Nursery's lead person for Health and Safety and ECAT (Every Child a Talker).
