About the Business

Prior to employment, all staff are thoroughly vetted to ensure their suitability. Our staff hold full and relevant childcare qualifications and continue to attend further professional development to ensure they stay up to date with current policy and practice. Copperfields is a privately owned day nursery that has been established since 1987, situated in a large detached house near the centre of Eastbourne.

We are open from 8am until 6pm, 51 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays, closing only for the week between Christmas and New Year. The nursery is split over two levels; on the ground floor there are designated areas for 0-2's and 2-3yr olds. Upstairs provides 3 play rooms for the over 3's. We also have a large, safe, secure waled garden providing an excellent outdoor learning environment.
