About the Business
The morning club operates during term time from 7.30am until 9am. Children can arrive the club at anytime however must be signed in by a responsible person over the age of 16. Those in primary 7 may sign themselves in however it is the parents responsibility to ensure the child arrives at the club. The session offers children the opportunity to choose from a wide range of activities including role play, construction & free play, games & jigsaws, reading, drawing, quiet area, TV, PC's and on occasion's use of the Wii. Art activities are led by the children and also relate to specific themes and cultural festivals. Throughout the session the children are served breakfast until 8.40am. A choice of toast, cereal and other breakfast products are served if children wish to eat. Children eat at the breakfast table where social skills are learned and developed. Children are permitted to leave the club for school from 8.45am.
