There has been a nursery at Mottram village hall for approximately 25 years. The nursery is set in the large main hall of the village parish hall. Although it is not a purpose built environment, it is well maintained and is a superb setting for the nursery. It has a very large main hall, light and airy, there is a large kitchen situated off the hall. Four ladies and gents toilets plus 2 disabled toilets. The nursery has access to a barked, enclosed playground area and also a very large field. The village hall is owned by the trustees and is hired out to many local groups and clubs and is also used to hold many private functions. A management committee meets monthly and the nursery owner also attends these. The nursery is registered for 38 places, children ages 2-5 years old. Foundation Nursery schools is an independent nursery/preschool.
