About the Business

We are a husband and wife team who provide childcare in our own home. We employ seven lovely ladies to work alongside us allowing us have ratios that are 3 children to 1 adult or less. Between us we have over 35 years experience of working with children at home and in nursery settings and are all qualified to or working towards NVQ level 3 in childcare. Hungry Minds Childcare is a more personal and nurturing setting than a typical nursery, while being much busier and livelier than a typical set-up where there is only one childminder. While attending Hungry Minds Childcare your child will be part of a large, fun, extended family where they feel at home, free to explore and learn about the joys of being a child. At Hungry Minds Childcare we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage where the emphasis is on each child being 'an individual'.
