About the Business
My name is Katie Heal. I began Childminding in January 2010. I have trained as a Childminder and I am now an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have worked with children since 1990. I trained as a Norland Nanny and achieved my NNEB in 1992. I then worked as a nanny until having my twin boys in 2003. I have since continued to nanny and also worked in a pre-school for 2 years. Part of my job was 1:1 special needs support. I also worked as a special needs teaching assistant in a primary school, until I had my daughter in 2011.
I live in a spacious 3 bedroom house with garden. I live with my husband John and twin boys Josh and Jake, and our daughter Tilly. There is a separate playroom with lots of toys and games, a large kitchen where we eat our meals, do art and craft and baking activities (depending on age). There is a separate computer area and a quiet room for stories and sleep.
My husband works alongside me as an OFSTED registered assistant with a full paediatric first aid certificate.
