About the Business
My name is Mandy McVey, I am 33 years old and I live with my husband Darren, my daughters Amy (12) and Megan (8), our pet African Grey parrot called Millie (14), and our puppy Max. I offer a home-from-home childminding service from my home in the Clermiston area of Edinburgh for children aged 3 months to 5 years. I am fully registered with The Care Inspectorate as a childminder and I am a registered member of SCMA (Scottish Childminding Association). I am also insured as a childminder though SCMA.
I am a member of the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) and I have completed my certified Introduction to Childminding Training with SCMA. I have recently had an inspection by The Care Inspectorate and achieved a Grade 5 (Very Good).
