About the Business

Nelly's was established in September 2002 by Sarah and Jez Hill. We opened our first nursery at Turney Road when we could not find suitable childcare for our own children. We wanted somewhere with a homely, family feel, where our children would feel safe and loved. We knew that we wanted them to follow their own routines and to be in an environment where they would be encouraged to explore and develop their own sense of independence and curiosity.

We have listened to what other parents want and what Early Years professionals and regulatory bodies say, to establish high quality provision that meets the needs of families today. We continue to listen and we work hard to ensure that our nurseries offer an exceptional level of care — care that is underpinned by our commitment to the children, their families and to our staff.
