Hi, my name is Sally and I am a fully qualified, insured, registered childminder based in Hitchin. I am married to Christophe and have 3 children, aged 11, 14 and 16. I have been childminding for 6 years and feel passionate about providing a warm and friendly environment where the children can feel safe and secure as well as have lots of fun. I work closely with parents to ensure I provide a home-from-home environment with play experiences adapted to each child's interests, likes and stage of development.
I have up-to-date Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Certificates and have achieved a Grade A in the Level 3 'Diploma in Home-based Childcare'. The well-qualified childminder demonstrates an excellent use of observations and incorporates children's next steps in learning into future planning. She identifies children's interests and integrates these into a range of activities, with clear direction for extending children's learning.
