About the Business
I'm Sarah Hill, and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder based in Thornton Dale, North Yorkshire.
My family are from Pickering, we are a very close family and keep in touch on a daily basis. I lived in Pickering up until i married my husband, Andy, who is self employed and was born and raised in Thornton Dale.
I started my working life as an Accounts Assistant in a local Chartered Accountants, then moved on to another local firm where again i worked in accounts. After several years i decided a change was in order and began work as a receptionist. Shortly after, i found out i was expecting our son Sam (now 5). We had several childminders up until he started school, some ceased trading, some moved away, and finding new ones was always a problem. Just as Sam started Reception class we found out we were having another baby, and I decided this time I would like to stay at home and become a childminder.
