About the Business
SCMA is a voice of childminding in Scotland. We work with our members to help improve the wellbeing and outcomes for Scotland's children. We also play a big part in influencing change at government level to ensure new legislation is proportional and fits our members' needs.
As an organisation we help shape policy, share knowledge and guidance, provide training and opportunities for our childminder members. We give our members a place to turn for help. We work with organisations such as the Care Inspectorate and HMRC to make sure our advice is accurate.
