Cotton Socks is highly recommended by our customers as a nursery that is safe, caring and friendly. We are well established in the community, and have close links with local schools. Our out of SchoolClub is run from Barling School and we are the approved nursery provider for the Wakering Children's Centre. Cotton Socks is in an idyllic rural setting, close to Wakering, Thorpe Bay, Shoebury and Rochford with safe off-street parking and two secure outside play areas with a variety of fun activities. We are open all year round from 7am. We take children up to school age with full and part time places, from as little as two sessions, to a full week. Our prices are very competitive with a number of discount incentives. We also have a number of funded pre-school places available. All children are provided with daily activity and progress reports. We serve home cooked, nutritious food and cater for fussy and faddy eaters. We also cater for vegetarians and food intollerances. Our staff are able to sit with children to encourage them to eat, for as long as needed, and will provide meal progress reports. The owners, Dawn and Richard Harvey have a firm belief that staff development should a way of life and in the last year staff have completed over 300 hours of external training.

Wee Acorns is a small, purpose-built nursery in Dunblane. We have places for 0-5 year-olds. We believe that small is beautiful. Our nursery will have places for a maximum of 24 children. We believethis helps us to maintain a friendly and informal atmosphere, and will be small enough not to be daunting for children, but big enough to provide a family environment for new social and learning experiences.
