At Little Explorers nursery & pre-school we understand that your priority is to find a nursery that offers the right setting for you and your child. We appreciate that you may feel a little apprehensive about leaving your child for the first time and for this reason it is important to feel comfortable, secure and at ease with the childcare you choose.
We have Pre-Schools in most of the Service estates for children aged from 2 years to school age. On Rowner we have a full day care nursery, and also two groups for children under three with one of them providing full day care. All groups are held in family quarters with rooms the size children are used to, but with more toys! The aim is for children to enjoy playing in a safe and happy environment and at the same time prepare for school by gaining knowledge and independence.
Little J's was established in 2005 with a philosophy that was structured to align play with learning. Every child is treated as an individual and is encouraged to accomplish everything that they are able to through play. All staff are fully qualified to a level that is necessary for this age range, they all hold first aid certificates and enhanced CRB checks. In addition all staff attend regular training courses to update their knowledge.
